In this Public Information Film, the audience learn of road safety. The purpose of this, is to teach and make it clear how important it is to abide by the rules and respect others. The intened audience of this Public Information Film is those over 18, that are able to drive, however, for others this also may be useful as it shows the importance of driving carefully. This will make audiences feel shocked and challeneged and make them think upon their actions more. This film may impact the audience as it uses close up shots to show the expression in peoples faces as they are close to being hit by a car. This emphasises the effect this has on people therefore the audience will be shocked as too what they see and possibly act upon it. The narrative within the film, has a lot of different voices, showing that this is coming from alot of peoples points of view. This has a huge impact on the text as it emphasises the importance of looking our for pedestrians. The media text represents both males and females, young and old, which gives it a large target audince, helpin to show how its aimed at all. The music used is quite a quiet dull music, helping the film to express the emotions of how these kind of accidents may effect the lives of people. This helps the audience realise the importance of car accidents, fulfilling its purpose of a Public Information Film.

In this Public Information Film,, it shows how much someone smoking may affect not only them, but their child. The intedned audience for this media text would be people who smoke, its purpose it to stop people from smoking and by using a child, the most important person to a parent, it will attract a wide range audience of people and make them really consider the choices they are making when smoking. The impacts that this film will have on an audience will come from the narrative at the very end of the film where the voice describes how smoking will have an affect on your child and through this narrative, the audience will be shocked as it is quite shocking in what they say. The shots used are close up to the young boys face to show his emotions at loosing his mum, as well as far away ones to emphasise how alone the boy is, this will impact the audience as they wouldnt want to see their child so alone. The music used is very saddening and frightening, portraying what it will be like for this child and it will also draw the audience in to the seriousness behind smoking. The colours used in this film are very dark, made up of greys and blacks, and dull colours represent sadness along with bad things, again this will draw the intended audience in aswell as making it clear about the bad things associated with smoking. This advert fufills its purpose of making people aware of the choices they are making having an affect on people other than themselves.

The purpose of this media text is to show the importance, through media language of facts and figures of how many lives are affected currently by a certain illness and how we, as an audience can make a difference. The intended audiencem of this Public Information Film is of adults from all around. Again, it uses representations of children to make the audience feel shocked and think about the choices they may make in connection to this advert. At the end of this advert, it says 'make your baby proud!' which will have a huge impact on parents watching this advert as most parents want their children to be proud of them, this will impact the audiences to persuade them to do something and act upon it. The music within this text is very slow and inspiring which again will help fufill the purpose of the text to make people think about choices they are making. The last shot seen within the film is of parent and child together which may also have an impact on the audiences actions towards the film as they will get an understanding of how important children are to their parents. The shots are also close up, however, they are showing un-happy children to express how the audience can help to make these children happy again.
